Key words: Advertising major; Computer graphic design; Program; Practice INTRODUCTION In June 1983 , Department of Journalis m and Communication of Xiamen University took the lead in recruiting 15 students of advertising major, and created a precedent of modern advertising education in China. Afterwards, Communication University of China (formerly Beijing Broadcasting Institute), Wuhan University, Shenzhen University and other universities set up the profession
