6、受到两种文化在社会 生活、政治、文化和宗教等许多方面存在不同。对文化习俗和价值的 忽视不仅会造成交际障碍，使交际受阻，而且会引起一定的误解、冒 犯甚至敌意。在跨文化交际日益频繁的今天，要成功实现跨文化交际， 我们必须要突破文化和语言之间的障碍。语言和文化的关系异常紧密， 语言是文化的组成部分也是文化的载体;语言的使用反映着文化的内 涵。禁忌语作为一种特殊的语言现象普遍存在于每一种文化之中。不 同语言、不同文化背景下的禁忌语言存在着巨大差异。正是因为英汉 禁忌语在一定程度上折射出中西方形态各异的社会文化背景，反映出 不同的社会心理状态和语言文化内涵，因此很有必要探讨中英禁忌语 在跨文化语境中的差异及应用。本研究通过对中英禁忌语的比较和对 照，分析了他们的异同并讨论了如何在跨文化语境中避免不当的禁忌 语使用。 关键词：关键词：中西跨文化交际 ；语言；文化；禁忌语 3 Contents Abstract1 摘要摘要.2 Introduction
