This paper discusses a modular multi-serial expansion device, introducing the American TI company of TL16C754B 4-channel UART parallel-serial converter and a programmable multi-protocol serial transceiver MAX3160
5、 serial drive unit in the application of the 8-channel serial expansion, giving the principle diagram of interface circuit and the hardware connection diagram, elaborating C language program code in the CCS integrated development environment with the serial debugging assistant achieving debugging re
6、sults and controlling the datas sent by a PC in the MSComm control with the turntable control system getting debugging results.
