6、措施 来避免异常磨损，从而正确的维护和保养，以便延长轮胎的使用寿命。 1.1 汽车轮胎的作用与发展史汽车轮胎的作用与发展史 （1）概述 车轮与轮胎（如图 1）是汽车行驶系中的重要部件，其功用是：支承整车； 缓和由路面传来的冲击力； 通过轮胎同路面间存在的附着作用来产生驱动力和 制动力，汽车转弯行驶时产生平衡离心力的侧抗力，在保证汽车正常转向行驶的 同时，通过车轮产生的自动回正力矩，使汽车保持直线行驶方向；承担越障提高 通过性的作用等。 （2）轮胎的作用 现代汽车几乎都采用充气轮胎。轮胎安装在轮辋上，直接与路面接触，它的 作用是： 1)和汽车悬架共同缓和汽车在行驶时所受到的冲击。 保证乘座舒适性和行驶 平顺性。 2)保证车轮和路面有良好的附着性， 以提高汽车的牵引性、 制动性和通过性。 3)承受汽车的重力
