With the emergence of new models of the sensor and the wide application of multimedia Sensor Network, the existing covering methods on Omni-directional perception are limited
4、when they come to directional perception. This necessarily requires that we put forward some new coverage control methods. This text introduces a further and deeper research on video sensor node with both a directional sensing model and a rotational model. We introduced in areas where the sensor net
5、work coverage and cover the principle and algorithm of the fence, and came up with a new algorithm and did some necessary simulations. The main content of this paper is as follows. A coverage enhancement algorithm that based on virtual potential field is proposed. This is a kind of regional coverage
6、 enhancement algorithm. Firstly, take the sensing area as mass point, so we can put the actual problem into a mass point uniform distribution problem. Secondly, put the rotation of the direction sensor nodes into a problem of making circular motion centered on nodes. Finally, the MATLAB software simulation shows this algorithm improved the network coverage and achieved rapid convergence.
